Parsons Dance: Company Background

Founded in 1985 by choreographer David Parsons and lighting designer Howell Binkley, Parsons Dance is an American contemporary dance company known for athletic movement and visually striking stagecraft. Its repertory includes the signature work Caught, a solo whose carefully timed lighting creates the illusion that the dancer is suspended in midair. The company's performances combine energetic choreography with a polished, accessible presentation.

The New Bedford date is scheduled for November 7, 2026. Specific program details, tour title, and opening acts have not been provided, so the evening's repertoire should be confirmed with the event listing closer to the performance. Prices currently start around $40, with exact costs depending on availability and seat selection.
